Tulsa Football Adds Former Jenks Trojan Star and Kentucky Receiver Isaiah Epps

TULSA, Okla. –– Former Jenks High School star Isaiah Epps has joined The University of Tulsa football program from the University of Kentucky as a graduate transfer, Head Coach Philip Montgomery announced today. He will have one year of eligibility with the Golden Hurricane.

The 6'2" receiver had 31 receptions for 365 yards and one TD in 43 career games with nine starts for the Wildcats. In 2021, Epps caught 11 passes for 171 yards and one touchdown. He had a career-best 83 yards in the season opener against UL-Monroe, while also totaling a career-long 57-yarder in that game.
 
Epps played as a true freshman in 2017, playing in all 13 games, and also saw action in 13 games a year later before sitting out the 2019 campaign with a foot injury.
 
At Jenks, Epps had a breakout senior season in 2016 when he set a school receiving record with 1,209 yards on 59 receptions and had 12 touchdowns, along with 10 rushes for 76 yards and a score. He earned District 6A-1 Offensive Player of the Year accolades as a senior.
