Tulsa Golfers at Barbara Nicklaus Cup Monday

TULSA, Okla. –– The Tulsa women's golf team will be in action next at the Barbara Nicklaus Cup, Monday-Tuesday, Oct. 3-4, at the Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio.

The par 72, 6,362-yard course will play host to eight teams including Colorado, Furman, Maryland, Notre Dame, host Ohio State, TCU, Tulsa and Wisconsin. The 54-hole event will play 36 holes on Monday with the final 18 on Tuesday.

Tulsa has played in two tournaments during the fall season, finishing in third place at the Green Wave Fall Classic and ninth in a field of 16 teams at the Schooner Fall Classic.

Senior Lilly Thomas will return to the lineup this week after missing the Schooner Fall Classic while playing in the LPGA's Walmart NW Arkansas Championship a week ago. Thomas has a team-best 68.7 stroke average, followed by freshman Grace Kilcrease at 70.2 and sophomores Lovisa Gunnar at 70.3 and Sydney Seigel with an average of 70.7.

Upon returning, Tulsa will host the Dale McNamara Invitational, Oct. 10-11, at Cedar Ridge Country Club.
