TULSA, Okla. — The University of Tulsa volleyball team could not overcome a potent Bulls offense Sunday at home, falling to South Florida (8-14, 2-8 AAC) in straight sets (20-25, 16-25, 22-25).
The loss dropped the Golden Hurricane's record to 10-13 overall and 3-8 in American Athletic Conference play.
Outside hitter Kayley Cassaday led the Hurricane with 14 kills and 11 digs to earn her sixth double-double of the season. Setter Avery Kalsu put up 18 assists to boost the Tulsa offense.
Libero Marta Pecalli chipped in 11 digs to go with 10 digs and a team-high three blocks from Kalsu.
The Hurricane will hit the road next weekend to play Temple (9-14, 3-9 AAC) on Friday, Nov. 4, and East Carolina (8-16, 3-9 AAC) on Sunday, Nov. 6.
