TULSA, Okla. ― The Tulsa men's tennis team is set to face its second straight ranked opponent when the Hurricane host the No. 18 Pepperdine Waves Sunday at noon inside the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.

Tulsa is coming off the ITA Kickoff Classic in Fort Worth, Texas. TU knocked off AAC foe Wichita State 4-2 before dropping the championship match to No. 4 TCU.

Pepperdine is 1-2 on the season but have faced all ranked opponents so far. The Waves beat No. 14 Arizona after dropping their season opener to No. 16 Stanford. Last weekend, Pepperdine lost 3-4 to No. 24 Harvard in the ITA Kickoff Weekend in the USC regional.

The Waves will play at Oklahoma State on Friday before heading to Tulsa.

The duo of Daniel Siddall/Tom Thelwall-Jones will look to continue their early doubles success, as the Tulsa combo is 4-0 this season, winning at the No. 1, 2, and 3 positions so far.

On the singles side, Kody Pearson is a perfect 3-0 from the top slot, while Callum Gale is on a three-match win streak.
