Tulsa Wins Five Events to Wrap Up ORU Invitational

TULSA, Okla. – Tulsa concluded the 2022 Oral Roberts Invitational Saturday with three victories, as Cara Johnson, Henry Visser, Jaidah McCallon, Keely Jones, and Malte Propp all won individual events over the two-day meet.

Yesterday, Jaidah McCallon won the 800-meter run while Henry Visser claimed first in the 400-meter hurdles, while seven other athletes finished in the top-5.

Tulsa followed up yesterday's strong performance with three more victories, as Cara Johnson won the 100-meter dash, Keely Jones won the women's 1,500-meter run and Malte Propp took first in the men's 1,500-meter run. Tulsa finished its outdoor debut with five victories and 23 top-5 finishes.

The Hurricane collected six top-10 finishes in the women's 100-meter dash and the women's 1,500-meter run, while the men tallied six of the top seven finishes in the men's 1,500-meter run.

Tulsa will return to action next weekend, Friday, April 1-2 at the Stanford Invitational in Palo Alto, California.
