Tulsa to Send Seven Runners to Compete at Stanford Invitational

TULSA, Okla. – Coming off its first outdoor meet last weekend, the Tulsa track and field team will send seven runners to compete at the Stanford Invitational starting this Friday, April 1st and conclude the following day at the Cobb Track and Angell Field in Palo Alto, California.
Chloe Hershenow will compete in the women's 5,000-meter run, while Isaac Akers, Shay McEvoy, and Michael Power are set to compete in the men's 5,000-meter run. Tulsa will also have Scott Beattie, Cormac Dalton, and Peter Lynch contend in the 10,000-meter run. Those events are slated for Friday night.
At last weekend's Oral Roberts Invitational, the Hurricane tallied five victories and 23 top-5 finishes to start the outdoor campaign.
