Tulsa Golfers Back in Action for Trinity Forest Invitational

TOURNAMENT NOTES
DALLAS, Texas –– The Tulsa women's golf team will be back in action this week, Monday-Tuesday, March 7-8. The 54-hole two-day event will take place at the par-72, 6,460-yard Trinity Forest Golf Club.
The Tulsa team this week will feature the junior Lilly Thomas, seniors Lorena Tseng and Haley Greb and freshmen Lovisa Gunnar and Sophie Johnson.
The 15-team field features four additional American Athletic Conference members – host SMU, Memphis, South Florida, and Tulane – as well as UAB, Dallas Baptist, Northern Illinois, New Mexico, New Mexico State, UNLV, Texas Tech, Texas State, UTSA and UTEP.
Tulsa has played in two spring tournaments, finishing second at the Texas State Invitational and seventh at the Columbia Classic. Thomas leads the Hurricane with a 71.9 stroke average in 18 rounds this year with three top-10 performances.
