Tulsa Rowing Hosts Oklahoma and Creighton on Saturday in Lawless Cup

The Tulsa rowing team will host the Lawless Cup against both Oklahoma and Creighton on Saturday, April 30 beginning at 9:00 am at the J. Bird Sr. Shell Nest at Rogers Point Park (4001 North Highway 66) in Catoosa, Okla.
 
The three teams will compete in races every 20 minutes, beginning with the 2nd Varsity 4+, followed by the Varsity 4+, 2nd Varsity 8+, Varsity 8+ and 3rd Varsity 8+ races with the conclusion around 10:45 am.
 
"We have had a few weeks at home since we raced at the Sunshine State Invitational in Sarasota, Fla., which has allowed us time to work on our lineups in terms of consistency, speed and technique," Interim Head Coach Olivia Staff said.  "We are looking forward to hosting the University of Oklahoma and Creighton University in Catoosa this weekend for our first home race of the season as well as having our Senior Day.  It will be a racing weekend with close competition that will help set us up for what we want to do at conference."
 
"We are looking forward to celebrating our seniors and all that they have committed and contributed to the Tulsa rowing program, so we encourage our fans to come out and support our seniors and Tulsa rowing on Saturday."
