TULSA, Okla. –– Aspiring basketball players will have the opportunity to learn from The University of Tulsa's first-year head basketball coach Eric Konkol and the Golden Hurricane coaching staff and team. At the Eric Konkol Basketball Camps this summer. Three camps are available covering ages Kindergarten through 12^th grade and will take place on the TU campus.

The camps include: High School Elite Camp (June 12), Junior Golden Hurricane Camp (July 11-14) and Youth Day Camp (August 1-4).

The High School Elite Camp is for players entering Grades 9-12 and gives players the opportunity to play against other top players from the region and have the opportunity to be coached by The University of Tulsa Basketball staff. The afternoon consists of skill work and competitive games.

The Elite Camp takes place on Saturday, June 12, from 1-5 p.m. and costs $65. The camp is limited to 65 players

The Junior Golden Hurricane Camp, scheduled for July 11-14, is for boys entering kindergarten thru 6^th Grade. The Junior Golden Hurricane camp is designed to expose campers to the core elements of the game of basketball. Daily station work, contests, and game play are used by the Golden Hurricane staff and players to assist in teaching the game to campers. The Junior Golden Hurricane Camp is scheduled from 9-12 p.m. and costs $150 per camper.

The Youth Day Camp, for Grades 2-10, is designed to help campers improve their basketball skills and develop their love for the game of basketball. This camp consists of daily skill instruction, contests, competitions, and games. The camp is set for August 1-4 and runs from 9-3:30 p.m. with a cost of $250 per camper.

All camps include a Camp T-shirt. Discounts for the Junior Golden Hurricane and Youth Day Camps only are available when campers or families qualify.
