Tulsa’s Anna Shaw Named The American Rowing Newcomer of the Year

Tulsa's Anna Shaw was selected as the American Athletic Conference Newcomer of the Year, as voted on by the league's coaches and announced today by the conference office.
Shaw spent time in the Golden Hurricane's Varsity 8 throughout the 2021-22 season, helping Tulsa finish third at the conference championships. The freshman from Nottinghamshire, United Kingdom aided the Golden Hurricane's Eight to a second-place finish at the Head of the Oklahoma and a third-place mark at the Sunshine State Invitational, all while holding a 3.8 GPA in chemistry.
