Cassaday and Pecalli Named To AAC Volleyball Weekly Honor Roll

IRVING, Texas — Senior outside hitter Kayley Cassaday and sophomore libero Marta Pecalli were named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll, making it the third week in a row the pair has received weekly conference honors.

Cassaday, the league's leading scorer, had another productive weekend as Tulsa's go-to hitter. She came away with 39 kills and finished with a weekend hitting percentage of .262. In the sweep over Temple, Cassaday only committed two errors en route to landing 17 kills in 33 total attacks (.455).

Pecalli fortified the Golden Hurricane defense over the weekend by recording 45 digs at 5.63 digs per set to go with three service aces. She had a weekend-high 28 digs in the five-set win over East Carolina.

Tulsa hits the road next weekend for a conference match with South Florida, starting at 3 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 30. Then, the Hurricane will take on #24 UCF on Sunday, Oct. 2, at 12 p.m.
