Tulsa Rowing to Face Indiana and Minnesota This Weekend

The Tulsa rowing team will officially kick off the 2023 spring season on Friday and Saturday, March 24 and 25 as they take on Indiana and Minnesota in Bloomington, Ind. 
 
Due to potential inclement weather the regatta has been moved to the two-day format, with races on Friday night beginning at 5:00 pm and concluding around 6:00 pm, and Saturday racing taking place between 8:30 am and 9:30 am.
 
"We are excited for our opportunity to travel to Indiana to race this weekend," Head Coach Brandon Campbell said. "It's a double dual format, meaning we will race off 1v1 against Louisville in the morning session, and then against Minnesota in the afternoon session."
 
"Racing in a dual often creates a different mentality. This time of year, we really want to stay internal, but there's also a bit of 'hey, if we can inch our bow ball out front, maybe we can gain the momentum in the race and get the advantage over the other crew.''
