No. 57 Tulsa Drops Home Match to No. 47 Baylor

TULSA, Okla. — The University of Tulsa men's tennis team fell 4-2 to the No. 47 Baylor Bears (12-11) Wednesday at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
 
The loss drops the Golden Hurricane to 7-11 on the year.
 
The doubles point went to the Bears as Tulsa dropped 6-1 and 7-6(2) decisions at the No. 3 and 1 positions, respectively.
 
After Baylor jumped out to 2-0 with a two-set win at Singles No. 4, freshman Timothy Carlsson Seger scored for Tulsa with a 6-2, 6-3 win over the Bears' Ethan Muza at the sixth position. The Taby, Sweden native has won three of this last four head-to-head matches.
 
Baylor scored at the No. 1 position to lead Tulsa 3-1. Afterward, senior Adham Gaber closed out a 7-5, 6-4 victory over Baylor's Luc Koenig at Singles No. 5. Gaber moves to 5-2 in the dual match season and has won three of his last four showings.
 
The Hurricane could not keep the momentum as Baylor's Marko Miladinovic prevailed 4-6, 6-3, 7-5 in the second position to seal away the dual match 4-2, leaving No. 3 Singles unfinished.
 
Tulsa remains home for a match with conference foe Wichita State (9-12) on Friday, March 31, at 11 a.m.
