Tulsa Golfers Open The Bruzzy in Second Place After Two Rounds

ARDMORE, Okla. –– Lilly Thomas and Grace Kilcrease paced Tulsa's second-place first day team performance with top-5 individual finishes on Saturday at The Bruzzy.

The Hurricane carded rounds of 291 and 280 for an 11-over par 571 score, sitting eight strokes behind first-place North Texas's score of 563 at the par 72 Dornick Hills Country Club course. The next closest team is third-place Purdue with a 19-over par 579 score.

Thomas is in second place after the first 36 holes with an even par 140 after rounds of 72 and 68, while Kilcrease sits in fifth place after rounds of 71 and 70 for a 1-over par 141.

Tulsa's Lovisa Gunnar turned in a two-round 144 for 13^th place after rounds of 74 and 70 on Saturday. Jenni Roller shot rounds of 74 and 72 for a 22nd place score of 146, while Sydney Seigel is in 42^nd place with a total score of 150 after scoring 76 and 74.

The final 18 holes will be played on Sunday.
