The Tulsa rowing team raced Creighton in a duel on Sunday morning at Carter Lake in Omaha, Neb. The Golden Hurricane won all five races by a minimum of 15.9 seconds.

"We were happy to travel to Creighton for our annual duel and are thankful to Creighton for hosting such a great event. The team is happy with the results today and we are looking forward to training a few more days before taking on Oklahoma next Saturday."

In the Varsity 8+ race, Tulsa's Isabella Musollino, Anna Shaw, Becky Coleman, Emily Bell,
Karen Undset, Darya Vyrupayeva, Madlen Markova, Ermioni Lamprianidou and Johanna Kristof turned in a time of 6:47.3 for an 18.9 second win over the Bluejays (7:06.2).

Paloma Probart, Sarolta Papp, Iffy Marinos, Katherine Stenning, Ivanina Petrova, Kristina Harris,
Robine Van Doorn, Helena Gutzmer and Letizia Susenna raced the 2nd Varsity 8+ to a time of 7:06.6. TU finished 15.9 seconds ahead of CU (7:22.5) for the closest race of the day.

The Golden Hurricane's Varsity 4+, which featured Mary Grace Wilson, Vanja Bogdanovic, Bobbi Forster, Anastasiia Ustiuzhanina and Kyra VanderWeele recorded a time of 7:40.8, which was 38 seconds ahead of Creighton (8:18.8).

Anna Lackner, Cali Campbell, Ashley Johnson, Kelsey Viane and Taylor Hopkins tallied a time of 8:09.8 in the 2nd Varsity 4+, which was 41.5 seconds faster than the Bluejays time of 8:51.3.

TU's 3rd Varsity 8+, which consisted of Dineshi Abeyagunawardene, Clarissa Jackson, Alyssa Davault, Kaya Smith, Molly Morris, Taylor Korb, Madelynne Fuchs, Julianna Lynch and Sarah Menefee, crossed the finish line with a time of 7:25.6. The Hurricane boat was 75 seconds ahead of Creighton (8:40.6) for the largest margin of victory on the day.
