DES MOINES, Iowa & LAWRENCE, Kan. — The University of Tulsa track team wrapped up the week's action Friday and Saturday at the Drake Relays in Des Moines and the Rock Chalk Classic in Lawrence.

With conference championships in less than two weeks, Golden Hurricane athletes got a crucial tune-up, as 13 earned new personal bests and 13 placed among the top 10 in their respective events.

Tulsa's strongest performance on Saturday came in the women's 400-meter dash, where Anna Mager (fifth), Elizabeth Roca (eighth) and Lianne Holtermann (ninth) earned top-10 overall finishes. Mager was the first to finish in her flight with a 56.08 mark, cracking The American's top-25 times in the event (17^th).

Josh Sutton also moved up The American's leaderboards, finishing third overall in the men's 200-meters and posting a 21.12 mark for the conference's ninth-best time.

Evan Sanni-Thomas (48.21) and Novo Onovwerosuoke (48.41) added a pair of top-10 performances in the men's 400-meter dash. Together, their times rank fifth and eighth in the conference.

Tulsa will make one last stop in Fayetteville for the Arkansas Twilight (May 5) before heading to Tampa, Fla., for the American Athletic Conference Championships May 12-14.
