Tulsa Head Coach Angie Nelp announced today the addition of Queen Ikhiuwu to the 2023-24 roster.
"We are excited to welcome Queen to our team," Nelp said. "She is joining us straight from showcasing her skills this summer in the European Championships where she represented her country of Spain. Queen will bolster our front line with her size and versatility and bring a fierce competitiveness to our team."
Ikhiuwu, a 6-1 forward from Navalcarnero, Madrid, has been a member of the U16, U17 and U18 Spanish National Teams and played with the Innova-TSN Leganes club team. She has competed in the FIBA European Championships, FIBA European Challenger and FIBA World Cup. Ikhiuwu averaged over 15 points a game throughout her last four years of playing, including 17 points per game this past year.
