Tulsa's 22^nd-ranked men's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to 25^th-ranked Oral Roberts on Friday night at the Case Soccer Complex on the ORU campus. The Golden Hurricane fell to 1-2 on the season, while the Golden Eagles moved to 3-0 overall.

"Overall, I'm proud of the guys," Head Coach Tom McIntosh said. "They worked hard, and they didn't give in. We don't like losing this game, but it wasn't for a lack of effort. We couldn't get into a good rhythm in terms of our possession, and we made a mistake that led to the goal. This was a good early season matchup as they have a good team, and we knew that coming in. We'll learn from this game and be better the next time."

Tulsa will return to action on Tuesday, September 5 against #18 Missouri State beginning at 7:00 pm at the Hurricane Soccer Stadium.
