After multiple delays, the Tulsa men's soccer team battled 13th-ranked Missouri State to a 1-1 draw on Tuesday night at the Hurricane Soccer Stadium.  The Golden Hurricane moved to 1-2-1 on the season, while the Bears moved to 2-0-1 overall.

"We had to play through a lot tonight, a 1:20 rain delay and a red card so we played a man down for quite some time, but overall I thought our guys defended well and I was pleased with the work of the midfield players."

Tulsa will return to action on Saturday, September 9 against Drake beginning at 7:00 pm at the Hurricane Stadium.

How it Happened
Tulsa was awarded a penalty kick at the 23:39 mark after Malik Henry-Scott was taken down in the box.  Sergio Baena took the PK and scored into the lower right side to give TU the early lead.

Javier Martin Gil scored on a long pass into the box from Kian Yari with just 19 seconds remaining in the first half to tie the score, 1-1.
