Tulsa Men’s Soccer Hosts Drake on Saturday

The Tulsa men's soccer team hosts Drake on Saturday, September 9 beginning at 7:00 pm at the Hurricane Soccer Stadium.

Fans unable to attend the match in person can watch it live on ESPN+. TU fans can subscribe to ESPN+ to watch select Golden Hurricane basketball, soccer, softball and volleyball games. The Golden Hurricane has a 1-2-1 mark on the season, including a tie with 13th-ranked Missouri State in their last contest. Sergio Baena and Malik Henry-Scott both have a team-best two goals on the season, while Mike Eijgendaal has tallied one score. Yuki Sekiguchi has two assists and three others each have one. Alex Lopez has logged all 360 minutes between the posts, picked up 12 saves for a 0.750 saves percentage and allowed four goals for a 1.00 goals-against average.
The Tulsa men's soccer team has not lost a regular season home game in three years, tallying a 19-0-5 mark in that time, including a 1-0-1 record at the Hurricane Stadium this year. TU's last regular season home loss came against Cincinnati (1-0) on October 19, 2019.
The Bulldogs have a 1-3 mark this season, earning a 1-0 win over Western Illinois. Six players have all scored a goal for Drake this season, Damian Segura has two assists and three others each have one. Kevin Qi has logged 315 minutes in goal, picked up 10 saves for a 0.556 saves percentage and allowed eight goals for a 2.29 GAA.
Tulsa owns an 11-5-2 lead in the all-time series over Drake, but it was the Bulldogs that picked up a 2-1 overtime win in Tulsa in the last meeting during the 2018 season.
