WICHITA, Kan. – Tulsa Golden Hurricane Volleyball continued their season on Friday with a match in the American Athletic Conference Tournament in the Charles Koch Arena in Wichita. Tulsa faced, for a third time this season, the Wichita State Shockers in the first round of the tournament. The Golden Hurricane's American Athletic Conference Libero of the Year and unanimous First Team All-Conference, Marta Pecalli was much of the reason for the success as she gathered 19 digs and had a perfect reception percentage with 21 receptions. Brayden Hipp, as the junior starting setter, was a strong leader throughout the match with 19 assists while adding one service ace and 1 kill. Freshman setter Brittany Bacorn supported the team's 35 assists with her own 13 allowing the team to hit .406 off her sets.
