Graduate guard Ari Seals, junior guard Jesaiah McWright and sophomore guard Ben Radford also return in 2024-25.
The newcomers are a mixture of freshmen and players with collegiate experience. Justin Amadi, Braeden Carrington, Dwon Odom and Tyler Behrend are transfers into this season's team. A redshirt junior forward, Amadi averaged 7.6 points and 4.6 rebounds in three seasons at James Madison. A graduate guard, Odom spent the past two seasons at Georgia State and started his career at Xavier. In four seasons, Odom averaged 8.7 points 3.5 rebounds and 3.4 assists while tallying 52 games in double figure scoring.

Monday's game will go down as an exhibition for the visiting Riverhawks, who enter their fifth season under head men's basketball coach Ja Havens. NSU is coming off an 11-win season and were picked to finish 11th by member coaches in the Mid-American Intercollegiate Athletics Association.
