TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa track and field teams saw nine of its student-athletes record top-10 finishes Thursday through Saturday in three of the biggest outdoor meets of the year, including the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, Calif., Wichita State's KT Woodman Classic and the John Jacobs Invitational on the Oklahoma campus in Norman. Tulsa athletes also picked up 14 new personal bests in the three-day span.
Women
Six women represented Tulsa at the Bryan Clay Invitational, where hundreds of athletes from schools in all collegiate levels were competing. In the 800-meter Open, sophomore Sarah Hosey finished 13th out of 239 runners in a new personal best of 2:09.37. Sophomore teammate Billie Rouse set a new career record in 2:14.41 for 118th place.
