Eye of the Hurricane Podcast: Tulsa Volleyball's Great Adventure! Head Coach Lauren Ramatowski on the Team's Trip to Europe

TULSA, Okla. –– The Eye of the Hurricane Podcast features stories and content on the Golden Hurricane that gives fans an inside look at The University of Tulsa Athletics.
On the latest episode, Head Volleyball Coach Lauren Ramatowski discusses the team's oversea's trip to Europe as well as the four newcomers to the 2024 roster, including graduate transfer Tatum Tornatta and true freshmen trio Brittany Bacorn, Tally Grissom and Ellie Trimble.

From May 26-June 6, the Tulsa volleyball team visited Prague and Brno of the Czech Republic, Vienna, Austria, Maribor, Slovenia and Trieste and Venice of Italy. The players spent their time sight-seeing, experience different cultures and cuisines and honing their skills against European national teams, earning wins over OLMP Praha, the Czech Republic U22 National Team, Slovenia U20 National Team, Slovenia U18 National Team and Pakistan National Team.
"It was an amazing experience for our team. The time we got to spend together was so valuable. Experiencing other cultures was very special and something we will remember for a long time," said Ramatowski. "We are so grateful to everyone who supported us. There were a lot of people we couldn't have done this trip without. We're just so grateful for the support."
This summer, the Tulsa volleyball team will host its 2nd Annual Golf Tournament at the Bailey Ranch Golf Course on July 26, starting at 8 a.m. Fans can register HERE.
In addition, the first of 12 high-energy and exciting Tulsa volleyball summer camps will start on June 16 and run throughout the rest of the summer. There are camps available for all aspiring players from the kindergarten level to the high school level. More information and registration can be found HERE.
