12 Tulsa Rowers Named 2024 CRCA Scholar-Athlete

TULSA, Okla. — The Collegiate Rowing Coaches of America (CRCA) announced 12 Tulsa rowers as National Scholar-Athletes on Thursday for their excellent performance on the water and in the classrooms.
 
Among the Golden Hurricane's recipients were Emily Bell, Brianna Gfroerer, Helena Gutzmer, Kristina Harris, Taylor Hopkins, Taylor Korb, Ermioni Lamprianidou, Madlen Markova, Isabella Musollino, Anna Shaw, Anastasiia Ustiuzhanina and Darya Vyrupayeva.
 
Gutzmer and Musollino are three-time honorees, while Harris and Shaw receive the recognition for the second time, and Bell, Gfroerer, Hopkins, Korb, Lamprianidou, Markova, Ustiuzhanina and Vyrupayeva are first-time recipients.
 
The requirements to be honored include being at least a sophomore in eligibility, competing in a minimum of 75 percent of the spring races in an NCAA or IRA-eligible boat, and having a 3.50 cumulative GPA or higher.
