TULSA, Okla. — The University of Tulsa has named Kennedy Warren to the Golden Hurricane volleyball coaching staff as an assistant coach, announced Friday by Head Coach Lauren Ramatowski.

"We are so excited to add Kennedy to our TU volleyball family!" Ramatowski said. "She will be an amazing role model for our young ladies with her recent volleyball experiences as an outside hitter at the pro and collegiate level. For me though, it was Kennedy's work ethic and her gratitude that will provide so much value to our organization as we continue to compete towards being a championship-level program."

"I am so excited to join this amazing program," said Warren. "Tulsa volleyball has tremendous leadership, and I am so excited to work with such a great group of young women. I look forward to leveraging my experience and energy to assist Coach Ram as she leads us into the future."

Warren joins the Hurricane after playing one year professionally for Genève Volley in Geneva, Switzerland, where she earned multiple Match MVP awards and helped the club record its best finish since 2008.

After returning home from Europe, Warren helped run summer camps for the Metro Elite Volleyball Club.

Before going pro, Warren enjoyed a successful collegiate career for Idaho from 2018-20, Houston in 2021 and 2022 and Stetson's beach volleyball team in the spring of 2023.

While at Stetson, she helped lead the Hatters to the ASUN conference title and a run to the NCAA Sweet 16. Earlier in that same academic year, she helped Houston win the 2022 American Athletic Conference title in their final year in the league. During the NCAA tournament, she led the team in kills, pushed the Cougars to their first NCAA tournament wins since 1994, and finished the season in the Round of 16. Houston went 55-11 in two years with Warren on the roster.

Before Houston, Warren was a two-time All-Big Sky selection for the Idaho Vandals.

A native of Peaster, Texas, Warren earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from Houston in 2022 and will continue working toward her master's degree in sports leadership at TU.
