Tulsa Men’s Soccer hosts Cal Poly Sunday Evening

TULSA, Okla. –– The University of Tulsa men's soccer team is back in the Hurricane Soccer Stadium to play Cal Poly in the latter half of a Sunday afternoon double header with women's soccer.
Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m., and the women host Arkansas-Pine Bluff at 3 p.m. Both games will air on ESPN+.
Fans unable to attend the action in person can subscribe to ESPN+ to watch select Golden Hurricane soccer, football, tennis, volleyball, soccer, softball and basketball games. The Golden Hurricane (0-2-0) seeks its first win of the season after a 2-0 loss at UNLV to open the season and a tight 2-1 defeat in the home opener on Wednesday to No. 15 Louisville. Wes Bottenburg deflected in a curling effort from Ian Belong shortly before halftime for TU's first goal of the season.
Cal Poly is wrapping up an Oklahoma roadtrip that started with a Thursday 0-1 loss at ORU. The Mustangs are 0-2-1 on the season and are looking to put the ball in the net for the first time. Despite this, the games have all been close, opening their 2024 campaign with a scoreless draw before falling 0-2 at Saint Mary's and the match with ORU.
Sunday marks the first meeting between these two clubs.
Following the match, Tulsa will head back on the road to face a familiar opponent in Missouri State on Friday night. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. and will air on ESPN+.
