TULSA, Okla. –– The Tulsa men's soccer team has a pair of conference road games lined up as the Golden Hurricane travels to play Kansas City on Tuesday before a Sunday showdown at FIU.

Kickoff with the Roos is set for 7 p.m. on Summit League Network and the game at Florida International will start at 6 p.m. (CT) and will air on ESPN+.

Fans unable to attend the action in person can subscribe to ESPN+ to watch select Golden Hurricane soccer, football, tennis, volleyball, soccer, softball and basketball games. ESPN+ is offered at $10.99/month or $109.99/year. To subscribe, go to plus.espn.com. Fans will be able to access ESPN+ content only after they have subscribed.

Tulsa (1-5-1, 0-1-0 The American) dropped its lone match last week 2-1 on Friday evening at home against the Memphis Tigers. It was the conference opener for the Hurricane, who has gone four straight games without a win.

Camilo Vargas became the first multi-goal scorer this season for the Hurricane, finding the net midway through the first half against the Tigers with a brilliant solo run and shot that halved the two-goal deficit. Vargas leads the Hurricane with five points this season. Alex Lopez was back in goal on Saturday, going all 90 minutes and making a trio of saves in a 10-minute span during the second half that kept Tulsa in the match. He has 13 stops this season.

Kansas City (4-2-2) battled back from 2-1 down to knock off UNLV 3-2 on the road in their last matchup. Earlier in the season, the Roos went on the road and took down a tough Missouri State opponent, grabbing two road wins against teams the Hurricane has played this season. However, despite their record, Kansas City has yet to win a home game, going 1-1 this season.

Elie Kisoka powers the Kansas City attack. One of the nation's top scorers with six goals, Kisoka has tallied a pair of assists and paces the Roos with 14 points. Raphael Kistmann is not too far behind, finding the net four times and is tied for the team lead with three assists. Brandon McGaugh has logged every minute in goal, making 26 saves and allowing 16 goals.

The Roos are coached by Tulsa Athletic Hall of Famer Ryan Pore (Class of 2021). Pore is in his fifth season with Kansas City after leaving the TU coaching staff in 2019.

Florida International (2-4-1, 0-1-0 The American) also dropped its conference opener, falling 1-0 at South Florida. The Panthers have a tough nonconference battle with SMU awaiting on Wednesday before Sunday's game with the Golden Hurricane. FIU opened its season with three straight losses before grabbing a draw against No. 16 Georgetown. The Panthers then knocked off No. 10 UCF 4-3 before taking down Central Arkansas 3-1.

FIU has had five different goalscorers this season, paced by Michael Appiah with three and a team-high six points. Bernardo Dos Santos Monteiro is the other Panther with multiple goals, scoring twice.

Nigel Van Haveren has played all 630 of the team's minutes in goals, recording 36 saves while allowing just 10 goals.

The Hurricane leads the all-time series with Kansas City 13-1-2. Tulsa's lone loss came on Sept. 13, 1995, and TU has won the last three matchups, including the most recent, a 4-1 win in Tulsa in 2022.

Tulsa has similarly controlled the series with FIU, holding an 11-1-2 advantage against the Panthers. However, the teams drew 2-2 to end last season, and in 2022, FIU won 3-0 for its first win over the Hurricane.

Following the two-game roadtrip, Tulsa will return to the Hurricane Soccer Stadium to host Florida Atlantic on Oct. 4.
