TULSA, Okla. — The University of Tulsa defeated Oregon State University 31-14 at H.A. Chapman Stadium, with Tulsa rushing for 283 yards and scoring three rushing touchdowns. This game marked the first-ever meeting between these two programs.

Dominic Richardson led the offensive charge with a season-high 166 rushing yards on 27 carries and a touchdown. Baylor Hayes completed 12 of 19 passes for 163 yards and a touchdown. Ray Coney anchored the defense with 10 total tackles and one sack. Brody Foley set a career-high with seven receptions for 95 yards and two total touchdowns.

Tulsa began its game against the Beavers with a strong opening quarter. After a short possession, Oregon State was forced to punt, and the Golden Hurricane capitalized on their ensuing drive. Dominic Richardson broke through with a 24-yard touchdown run at the 11:36 mark, making it 7-0. Tulsa extended its lead with Baylor Hayes connecting on a 6-yard touchdown pass to Brody Foley, bringing the score to 14-0 by the end of the first quarter.

Tulsa extended its lead in the second quarter with a 25-yard field goal by Seth Morgan at the 5:33 mark, bringing the score to 17-0.  During the drive, Hayes connected with Foley for a crucial 21-yard completion to advance Tulsa into the red zone. Richardson contributed significantly on the ground, with a key 8-yard rush to secure a first down. The Beavers struggled to gain momentum, hindered by penalties and a sack by Ty Cooper that resulted in an 8-yard loss. Tulsa took a 17-0 lead into halftime.

Tulsa extended its lead in the third quarter with a swift drive capped by a 5-yard touchdown run from Foley at 12:32, pushing the score to 24-0. Richardson made significant contributions on the ground, including a 24-yard rush that set up the scoring opportunity. Oregon State attempted to respond with a lengthy drive of its own, highlighted by a 27-yard pass from Maalik Murphy to Trent Walker. However, the drive stalled, and they turned the ball over on downs at the Tulsa 29-yard line. The Golden Hurricane maintained control throughout the quarter, driven by strong rushing from Richardson and strategic plays.

In the fourth quarter, Tulsa extended its lead with a standout 31-yard touchdown run by Ajay Allen at the 13:18 mark, making it 31–0. The Beavers responded with a strong drive, capped by Tristan Ti'a's 3-yard touchdown pass to Walker at 8:49, although the conversion attempt failed. Ti'a later connected with David Wells Jr. for a 4-yard touchdown at 1:57, and Karson Boschma completed the conversion to narrow the gap to 31–14. However, Tulsa would win its third game of the season, 31-14, over Oregon State.

The Golden Hurricane will face Army on Saturday, Nov. 22, at Blaik Field at Michie Stadium in West Point, New York. The matchup is set for 11 a.m. CT and will be aired on CBS Sports Network.
