Seigel Leads Tulsa on Day Two of PING ASU Invite

PHOENIX, Ariz. –– The Tulsa Women's Golf program shot a two-over par 290 during the second round of the PING ASU Invitational held at Papago Golf Course. The Golden Hurricane shot the third-best score of the day as they climbed two positions to ninth.
Arizona State extended its lead to 15 strokes after shooting 13-under-par during the tournament's second round. Northwestern is in second place after shooting four-under-par on day two. Tulsa followed with the third-best round of the day, shooting two-over-par (290).
Leading Tulsa on the second day was Sydney Seigel. After shooting four over on day one, Seigel was the biggest mover of the day as she moved up 40 positions on the leaderboard. The senior from Phoenix, Ariz., shot a round of three-under-par 69. She moved into a tie for 17th for the tournament as she is shooting one-over par 145. Over her first nine holes of the day, Seigel carded four birdies. This was her fourth round in the 60s this season.
Romaine Masserey followed suit and improved 15 spots on the leaderboard as she shot an even-par 72. Masserey carded five birdies on the day, finishing her second round with back-to-back birdies. Over the two days, Masserey is at two-over par 146 and tied for 26th place.
Senior Lovisa Gunnar also improved by 11 positions during the second round. She is currently tied for 30th place, with a score of three-over-par 147 after the second round. During her third round, she carded five birdies, tied for the most on the team with Masserey, and shot a round of one-over par 73.
Jenni Roller shot a round of four-over par 76 during the second day of competition. She had two birdies of her own, on hole 9 and hole 15. She is five-over-par 149 and sits tied for 43rd. Allyn Stephens carded a round of seven-over-par 79. She is tied for 69th place and is 14-over-par, 158 for the tournament.
Playing as an individual, Hanna Robinett carded a round of seven over par, 79. She is tied for 64th in the tournament with a score of 11-over-par, 155.
The final round will start at 10 a.m. CT as a shotgun start. The Hurricane will start the final round on holes 10 through 14. Robinett will start from hole 16. For complete round three tee times click here.
