Tulsa Begins Spring Rowing Season Saturday in Oklahoma City

Tulsa, Okla. — The University of Tulsa rowing team is set to open the spring racing season on Saturday, March 8, at the Oklahoma River in Oklahoma City with races against Central Oklahoma and fellow Big 12 member Kansas State.

Saturday's action will be divided into two sessions. The first is slated to begin at 9 a.m., with races starting in 15-minute intervals. The second session will follow a similar format and begin promptly at 10:30 a.m.

TU last raced on the Oklahoma River in October, where the Golden Hurricane competed in seven different events in the Head of the Oklahoma regatta, earning wins in the collegiate frosh 4+ race and the Open 2x.
