Jeanne Pagnier Wins the Grand Prix de Chiberta

Anglet, France –– Incoming freshman Jeanne Pagnier captured the Grand Prix de Chiberta championship on Sunday, securing her victory in a playoff.
 
During the first day of the tournament, Pagnier finished with a score of one-under 69. After starting the day at two-over par, she made a remarkable eagle on hole nine. She followed that with a birdie on the par-four 11th hole and then parred the rest of the course to complete her round.
 
In the second round, she battled, finishing with two birdies, two bogeys, and a double bogey for a total score of two over par (72). After 36 holes, she was one over par. In the third round, Pagnier excelled by recording four birdies and finishing two under par for the round with a score of 68.
 
She finished the tournament with a score of one-under par, shooting a 71 on the final day. Pagnier was tied with Sarah Cuney and went into a playoff. She won the tournament on the first playoff hole, finishing the 72 holes at even par.
