TU In Second Heading Into Final Day of Florida State Match Up

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The Tulsa women's golf team finds itself tied for second place after 36-holes at the Florida State Match Up. Tulsa is four-over par 580 with 18 holes to play in the tournament.
 
No. 18 Florida State shot a round of nine-under par 279 in the second round taking 13 shot lead over Tulsa heading into the final round tomorrow. Tulsa has two golfers in the top five and one just sitting outside the top ten. To view the complete leaderboard, click here.
 
Moving up eight positions on the leaderboard was Samantha Olson. Olson opened her round with two under-par on the front nine. On the back nine she made three birdies over the first four holes to go five-under par on the day. However, she bogeyed three holes and finished two-under par 70. She sits tied for sixth at one-under par 143.
 
Jenni Roller came is tied with Olson at the tournament. In the second round Roller found herself one-under par after the front nine. However, she was two-over par on the back nine and finished the day one-over par 73. She is tied for sixth at one-under par 143.
 
Allyn Stephens finds herself tied for 14th after her second round. She had 11 pars on the round and three birdies. However, she had three bogeys and a double and finished the day two-over par 74. She is two-over par 146 for the tournament.
 
Shooting six-over par 78 during the second round was Romaine Masserey. She sits tied for 19th after the first 36 holes of the event. He is four-over par 148 at the Florida State Match Up. Zoe Shamy shot ten-over par 82 in the second round and is tied for 47th. She is 11-over par 155.
 
Playing as an individual, Jeanne Pagnier moved up 16 spots on the leaderboard in the second round. She had two bogeys to open the round but closed out the front nine with four birdies. She finished the round one-over par 73. Pagnier is tied for 35th and is nine-over par 153.
 
Tulsa returns to action on Sunday for the final round of the Florida State Match Up. Tulsa will play with No. 18 Florida State and Eastern Michigan. Tee-times for this group will start at 8:30 a.m. CT, with every ten minutes off hole one.
