TULSA, Okla. — Third-year Head Volleyball Coach Lauren Ramatowski has announced three coaching staff updates ahead of the 2025 season, which is set to begin for the Golden Hurricane next week Friday. Kennedy Warren has been promoted to full-time assistant coach, Macy Blackburn has been added as a graduate assistant coach and former TU volleyball alum Regan Pendleton will serve in an operations role for the Golden Hurricane.
Warren spent her first year on staff at Tulsa last season as a graduate assistant taking on the leadership duties and title of an assistant coach. After completing her master's degree at TU and helping the Golden Hurricane finish 18-11 overall while earning their second-ever win over a nationally ranked opponent, Warren is now a full-time component of the core coaching staff for 2025.
A native of nearby Broken Arrow, Okla., Blackburn comes to TU from Central Arkansas volleyball, where she competed for four years (2020-23) for the Sugar Bears. She played 194 sets across 65 career matches, earning 241 kills with a career hitting percentage of 0.276. She also had 16 career service aces, 58 career digs and 150 total blocks. Blackburn briefly stopped at Missouri State to play beach volleyball in 2024 and 2025 before deciding to continue her master's degree at Tulsa while serving the TU volleyball team.
Pendleton enters her sixth year on the Tulsa volleyball squad, this time as an intern for the team. She will help handle team operations and assist with social media for the 2025 season. At TU, Pendleton was five-year letterwinner who played 236 sets spanning 88 total matches for the Golden Hurricane. She finished her career with 219 kills and 238 digs.
