Tulsa Golden Lager Debuts in Partnership with Marshall Brewing and Tulsa Athletics

A Crisp, Golden Tribute to the University of Tulsa — Launching August 30 at TU Football Home Opener
TULSA, OKLA. — Marshall Brewing Company and The University of Tulsa Athletics proudly announce the launch of Tulsa Golden Lager, a locally brewed, German-style light lager crafted to celebrate TU spirit, community, and tradition.
Brewed by TU alumnus and Marshall Brewing CEO Eric Marshall, Tulsa Golden Lager is a bright, easy-drinking beer that pours a striking golden hue and features mild malt sweetness with a clean, crisp finish. At 4.8% ABV, it's the perfect companion for gamedays and everyday moments alike.
"I am thrilled to work with my alma mater to develop a beer to be enjoyed at University of Tulsa Athletic games and beyond," said Marshall. "My dream of starting Marshall Brewing Company in Tulsa stems from the opportunity I had studying abroad in Germany while I was a student at TU and experiencing the cultural connection between beer and community. As a third generation TU alum and longtime season ticket holder, brewing Tulsa Golden Lager is a dream come true and a passion project for me."

A lifelong TU fan, Marshall can be found cheering from the stands at H.A. Chapman Stadium in the fall. Now, fans can raise a can of Tulsa Golden Lager alongside him as they cheer on the Golden Hurricane.
Tulsa Golden Lager will be available on game days throughout H.A. Chapman Stadium and at the official TU tailgate at Chapman Commons as well as other TU sporting events. Beginning in late August, it will also be available in six-packs at retailers throughout Northeast Oklahoma, bringing a taste of TU pride to homes, watch parties, and gatherings across the region.
The beer will make its official debut at the University of Tulsa football home opener on Saturday, August 30, as the Golden Hurricane take on Abilene Christian. Kickoff is at 7:00 PM, and fans are invited to be among the first to enjoy Tulsa Golden Lager on campus.
