TULSA, Okla. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA), The University of Tulsa and Tulsa Sports Commission announced a contract extension to keep the ITA Men's All-American Championships in Tulsa for the next five years.

Tournament matches will take place at multiple sites, including the Michael D. Case Tennis Center and the Case Tennis Center at LaFortune Park. The entire main draw will be held at Tulsa, while the Case Tennis Center at LaFortune Park will host some of the prequalifying and qualifying rounds.

"We're very grateful and fortunate that we have the All-American Championships for the next five years," said Director of Tennis and Men's Tennis Head Coach Vince Westbrook. "The commitment from the City of Tulsa and Visit Tulsa has been key in helping us keep this even in this great city. The event's economic impact for our community cannot be overstated. It truly helps in bringing high-quality players to the state of Oklahoma and the central part of the country. Tulsa remains one of the biggest host cities for tennis in the nation."

"We are thrilled that the ITA Men's All-American Championships will remain in Tulsa," remarked Sarah Inboden, Vice President of Experience & Events, Tulsa Regional Tourism and Interim Director of Sports Sales, Tulsa Sports Commission. "Tennis has a long, established history in our city, and the Tulsa Sports Commission is proud to have played a part in making sure some of the best collegiate tennis in the nation will still be played in Tulsa."

The ITA All-American Championships feature the top Division I collegiate tennis players vying for singles and doubles ITA National Championships. Qualifying rounds are contested, allowing competitors the opportunity to play their way into the Main Draw, which will feature draw sizes of 64 (singles) and 32 (doubles).

Sixteen singles players and eight duos can qualify their way into the main draws, which are preselected to already include the nation's best plus one Tulsa duo and at least one Tulsa singles player.

The University of Tulsa has served as the host institution for the ITA Men's All-American Championships for 19 consecutive years, which started in 2005. This fall will be the 20th straight year that TU has hosted.

"The ITA Men's Tennis All-American Championship has a rich history in Tulsa, and we are thrilled to uphold that tradition," said Director of Athletics Justin Moore. "Throughout the championship, we have the opportunity to showcase our outstanding tennis facilities not only to the Tulsa community but also to other schools."
