TULSA, Okla.— Tulsa tennis claimed three titles at the Tulsa UTR College Circuit tournament this weekend.

Nikita Volonski won the men's singles crown, Isabella Basson captured the women's singles title, and Volonski paired with Takeshi Taco to secure the men's doubles championship.

Both men's finals featured all-Tulsa matchups. Volonski defeated Timothy Carlsson Seger for the singles title, while Taco and Volonski topped Carlsson-Seger and Victor Tosetto in the doubles final. Connor Doig and Reiya Komagata also reached the doubles semifinals before falling 8-5 to Taco and Volonski.

Tulsa dominated the men's singles quarterfinals with six Golden Hurricane players appearing. Volonski outlasted Komagata in three sets, Taco defeated Tosetto in straight sets, and Carlsson-Seger beat Ian Bracks to move on. Gus Tettamble was the lone Tulsa player eliminated in the round, falling to Oklahoma's Hank Trondson in two sets.

On the women's side, the quarterfinals featured all Tulsa players except Alice Pesci, who lost to Lilitha Ndungane in straight sets. Basson went on to defeat Saniya Singh in the final to clinch the championship.

Up next, the men host the ITA All-Americans Sept. 20–28, while the women welcome competition at the Hurricane Invite Oct. 3–5.
