TAMPA, Fla. — Tulsa (6-3-4, 1-1-2) and South Fla. (6-5-1, 2-1-1) played to a 3-3 draw on Sunday afternoon at Corbett Soccer Stadium.

The Golden Hurricane managed to secure two second-half goals to equalize after trailing by two at the break. Notably, this was the first time in five games that Tulsa scored in the first half, setting the stage for what would be their fifth second-half comeback to either a tie or win this season.

The match between South Florida and Tulsa opened with South Florida taking an early lead in the 3rd minute as Sadie Sider-Echenberg scored, assisted by Gentiana Fetaj. The Golden Hurricane responded in the 8th minute when Jordan Frederick equalized, assisted by Kaylyn Simmons. This goal marked Frederick's ninth of the season and brought her career total to 20 goals. Emily Lemke restored South Florida's advantage with a goal in the 14th minute. The Bulls extended their lead further in the 43rd minute, with Fetaj finding the back of the net. Tatum Sanders made several saves for the Golden Hurricane, but South Florida held a 3-1 lead at the end of the first half.

Tulsa initiated the second half trailing, but quickly intensified their offensive efforts. It took until the 56th minute for Frederick to score again, her tenth goal of the season, assisted by Addison Castleberry, narrowing South Florida's lead to 3-2. The Golden Hurricane persisted, with Castleberry finding the net in the 85th minute, equalizing the match at 3-3 with an assist from Frederick, her sixth of the season and 27th of her career. Sanders was pivotal in goal for the Golden Hurricane, making crucial saves, including stopping shots from Lemke and Skylar Alonso. Despite multiple attempts from both teams, the score remained tied as the game concluded.
