BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Tulsa track and field starts postseason indoor competition at the American Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships in Birmingham, Ala., Feb. 27 and 28. 31 competitors will take the track for the Golden Hurricane.

The Golden Hurricane are heading into the weekend riding the momentum of a record-setting final regular-season weekend at the Tyson Invitational and the Gorilla Classic. Tulsa added a school record, multiple podium finishes and several all-time marks to close out the indoor slate. The men's 4x400 relay of Evan Sanni-Thomas, Luke Finzen, Joseph Synder and Colin Madison broke the program record by nearly two seconds with a 3:10.99, and will look to build on that this weekend.

Levi Rowan leads the men's distance group after a strong close to the regular season that included a 3,000-meter win and a runner-up finish in the mile. Colin Madison will be a key contributor as well, coming off a victory in the 600 yards that moved him to second all-time in program history, in addition to helping power the school-record 4x400-meter relay. Andrew Lutkenhaus, Walker St. John and Luke Birdseye also give Tulsa depth in the mile after recent podium finishes and all-time list performances.

On the women's side, Annie-May Cannings anchors the sprints following her 400-meter win and role on the 4x400 relay last weekend, while Evyn Humphrey and Sara Morefield headline the distance events after each moved up the program's all-time lists in the mile and 3,000 meters, respectively.

Competition for Tulsa will take place between begin at 1:30 p.m. CT on Friday. Streaming for both days is hosted on ESPN+ and live results will be available via Xpress Timing.
