IRVING, Texas. — The University of Tulsa's Dora Toman has picked up her seventh American Conference Freshman of the Week, the league announced Monday.

A native of Budapest, Hungary, Toman is now tied for the second-most Freshman of the Week awards in conference history behind former Golden Hurricane Temira Poindexter and ECU's Amiya Joyner, who each had eight in their respective freshman seasons.

In the 19-point win over Tulane (65-46), Toman put up 15 points off 6/12 made field goals, including three 3-pointers, while earning seven rebounds and one steal and one assist. Tulsa is now 8-0 when she scores 10 or more points in a game this season. She also added nine points in the road loss at Rice.

So far this season, Toman has been all over the floor for the Golden Hurricane, leading Tulsa in assists 11 times, steals eight times, boards seven times and scoring and blocks three times.

Tulsa will continue American Conference action on the road as they take on UTSA (13-14, 8-8 American) on Wednesday, March 4, at 6:30 p.m. for game No. 2 of the home-and-home series with the Roadrunners.
