Women’s Golf Moves Into Tie for Lead After Round Two

AIKEN, S.C. – The Tulsa women's golf team moved into a tie for the lead after the second round of the Annika More Than Golf Invitational presented by Bank of America. Along with moving into a tie for the lead, Tulsa has three of its five members inside the top ten.
 
TU is tied with Denver for the lead at 18-over par 602. They hold a one-shot lead over Columbia, who is in third. To view the complete leaderboard, click here.
 
After being just outside the lead, Samantha Olson finds herself tied for the lead after 36 holes. Olson shot a two-over par 75 in the second round. She moved up four spots on the leaderboard in the second round. Her round of two-over par was the second-best round of the tournament. She is two over par, 148, to share the lead. She is looking for her third straight top-five finish.
 
Allyn Stephens is one shot off the lead for the Golden Hurricane. Stephens shot a four-over-par 77. She is tied for fourth after the first 36 holes and is three-over par 148.
 
Moving up four spots on the leaderboard for the second round was Jenni Roller. She shot a second round total of three-over par 76. This was the sixth-best round of the second round.  She moved into sixth place by herself, four over par at 149.
 
Zoe Shamy finds herself tied for 19th after shooting seven-over par 80 in the second round. She is nine over par, 155 after the 36 holes. Romaine Masserey is tied for 28th at the tournament. She shot a seven-over par 80 in the second round and is 11-over par 159 for the tournament.
 
Tulsa returns to action on Tuesday, March 3, for the Final round of the Annika More Than Golf Invitational presented by Bank of America. Tulsa will play the final round with Columbia and Denver. A shotgun start is slated for 8 a.m. TU starts on holes 1-4.
