Women’s Golf Heads To American Conference Championship

BROOKSVILLE, Fla.  –  The Tulsa Golden Hurricane women's golf team returns to action on Monday when they participate in the American Conference Championship. The event will be held at Southern Hills Plantation Golf Club.
 
The three-round tournament will run from Monday through Wednesday, April 20-22, at the Southern Hills Plantation Golf Club. The 54-hole tournament will feature 18 holes Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. An individual champion will be crowned along with a team champion.
 
Tulsa enters the 2026 American Conference Championship as the reigning champions. TU will be looking to claim their first back-to-back tournament titles as a member of the American Conference. The last time the Golden Hurricane won back-to-back conference championships came when they were a member of the WAC and won seven straight conference tournaments.
 
Tulsa also returns the 2025 American Conference individual champion, Romaine Masserey, who became the first player in program history to win the conference individual title.

THE COURSE
Southern Hills Plantation Golf Club will play as a par-72, 6,289 yards for the three-day event. Each round will consist of 18 holes on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Each day will begin with tee-times.

THE FIELD
Tulsa is one of 11 teams competing at the American Conference Championship. The other American schools participating are UAB, Charlotte, East Carolina, Florida Atlantic, Memphis, North Texas, South Florida, Tulane, UTSA and Wichita State.
 
THE GOLDEN HURRICANE
Competing for Tulsa in the event are Samantha Olson, Jenni Roller, Allyn Stephens, Zoe Shamy and Romaine Masserey.

TEE TIMES
Monday will begin with tee times starting at 7 a.m. CT. Tulsa's golfers will be paired with South Florida and North Texas on Monday morning and go off hole one from 7 a.m. CT to 7:40 a.m. CT.

The Golden Hurricane will be led off by Romaine Masserey at 7 a.m. CT. She will be followed by Zoe Shamy (7:10 a.m. CT), Allyn Stephens (7:20 a.m. CT), Jenni Roller (7:30 a.m. CT) and Samantha Olson (7:40 a.m. CT)
