
Women’s Golf Earns Fifth-Place Finish at “Mo” Morial Invite

BRYAN, Texas — The Tulsa women's golf team earned its fourth top-five finish of the spring season with a fifth-place showing at the "Mo" Morial Invitational. The Golden Hurricane finished the tournament at 43-over par 907.
No. 3 Texas A&M captured the team title for the third consecutive time, finishing at 21-over par 885, three shots ahead of No. 24 Baylor.

Zoe Shamy led the Golden Hurricane, posting her best round of the tournament on the final day with a 2-over par 74. She climbed five spots on the leaderboard to finish tied for 16th at 10-over par 226.
Samantha Olson followed with a final-round three-over par 75, highlighted by a 1-under front nine. She finished tied for 23rd at 11-over par 227.
Jenni Roller carded a five-over par 77 in the final round, recording her lone birdie of the day on hole 13. She finished one stroke behind Olson at 12-over par 228, tying for 27th.
Romaine Masserey posted a six-over par 78 in the final round, including a birdie on hole two, to finish tied for 31st at 14-over par 230.
Allyn Stephens rounded out the Golden Hurricane lineup with an eight-over par 80 in the final round, finishing tied for 34th at 15-over par 231.
Tulsa returns to action on April 20 at the American Conference Championships, held at Southern Hills Plantation Golf Club in Brooksville, Florida.
