Reigning American Conference Champions Tee Off Fall Slate in Washington

SEATTLE, Wash. – The Tulsa women's golf team opens the 2026-27 season this week as the Golden Hurricane travels to the Pacific Northwest for the Leadership and Golf Invitational.
The 54-hole event will feature 36 holes on Monday followed by 18 holes on Tuesday.
The back-to-back American Conference champions begin their third season under head coach Mike Roters with competition Monday and Tuesday at Chambers Bay Golf Course in University Place, Washington.
Tulsa returns two All-Conference performers from last season's championship squad in Samantha Olson and Allyn Stephens. Olson earned All-Conference honors after a strong sophomore campaign highlighted by a runner-up finish at the American Conference Championship, while Stephens collected the honor for the second time in her career after tying for seventh at the conference championship. The duo helped lead the Golden Hurricane to its second consecutive American Conference title and the program's 22nd NCAA Regional appearance last season.
THE COURSE
Located along the shores of Puget Sound in University Place, Washington, Chambers Bay Golf Club is a links-style course known for its expansive layout, rolling terrain and dramatic views of the surrounding coastline. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., the course opened in 2007 and has quickly established itself as one of the premier championship venues in the country. Chambers Bay hosted the 2015 U.S. Open, won by Jordan Spieth, and has also been the site of multiple USGA championships, providing Tulsa with the opportunity to compete on a course with a rich championship pedigree.

THE FIELD
Tulsa is one of 17 teams competing at the Leadership and Golf Invitational at Chambers Bay Golf Club. Joining the Golden Hurricane in the field are Cal State Long Beach, San Francisco, Santa Clara, San Jose State, Gonzaga, SMU, Eastern Michigan, Arkansas Little Rock, Colorado, UC Davis, ULM, Seattle U, Cal Poly, Grand Canyon, Washington and Oregon State.
THE GOLDEN HURRICANE
Competing for Tulsa in the event are Samantha Olson, Allyn Stephens, Zoe Shamy, Jeanne Pagnier and Sayers Allen. Eva Kiri Fevzer will be competing as an individual for TU.
TEE TIMES
Monday will begin with an 10 a.m. CT shotgun start with round two beginning immediately after the first round. Tulsa will begin play on holes 13-17.
