HIGH SCHOOL -- Was a three-year letterwinner and starter at Jenks High School . . . helped his team post a three -year mark of 70-13 and advance to the state quarterfinals all three years . . . was named the Tulsa World State Player of the Year following his senior season . . . was a three-time first-team all-conference selection and was named the Frontier Valley Conference Player of the Year as a junior and senior . . . was a two-time Tulsa World all-metro selection . . . earned Tulsa World all-state first team accoaldes as a senior and second-team honors in his junior campaign . . . was named the Tournament of Championsions MVP in 2008 . . .scored 18.5 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.3 steals and 2.1 assists while leading his team to a 27-2 rcord and the Class 6A state championship game as a senior . . . also shot 56-percent from the field and 37-percent from three-point range . . . averaged 16.6 points and 8.2 rebounds, while shooting 56-percent from the field and 76-percent from the free throw line as a junior . . . scored at a 13.2 clip in his sophomore season, while pulling down 7.1 rebounds including a single-season school record for most offensive rebounds . . . also shot 54-percent from the field and 71-percent from the free throw line as a sophomore . . . totaled a double-double in all three gamesat the Tournament of Champions in his sophomore season . . . as a junior, tallied 31 points, 10 rebounds and four assists to lead Jenks to a win over Edmond Memorial in the area finals to send the Trojans into the state playoffs . . . high school coach was Clay Martin.
