FOURTH YEAR

Cody Scribner joined The University of Tulsa football coaching staff in February 2022 as a quality control analyst for defense.
 
Scribner had eight years of coaching experience prior to his appointment at Tulsa, mainly coaching on the defensive side of the ball.
 
Scribner came to Tulsa after spending the 2020 season as a defensive assistant at Abilene Christian (2020-21).  He helped with coaching the defensive ends and also served as assistant special teams coordinator.
 
Before that, Scribner spent three seasons as a graduate assistant coach at Kansas. He spent one year assisting with linebackers, one season as defensive line assistant coach and one year as the assistant offensive line coach. Previously, Scribner was linebackers coach at Arkansas-Monticello for three seasons.
 
Scribner began his coaching career at Central Missouri in 2011 where he was a graduate assistant coach helping with the linebackers.
 
He earned his bachelor’s degree in physical education in 2010 and master’s in kinesiology in 2012, both from Central Missouri. He also spent two years at Kansas as a non-degree seeking graduate student.
