Hope Hudspeth was named as The University of Tulsa’s Dance Coach in July 2020 and as of August 2023 serves as the Pom/Cheer Coordinator.

Hudspeth was a three-year member of the Golden Hurricane pom team (2016-19), while also serving as a co-captain of the squad. Before coming to Tulsa, Hudspeth was a member of the varsity pom squad at Tulsa Union High School for three years (2013-15).

A teacher at Jarman Elementary School in the Tulsa Union School District, Hudspeth coached the Tulsa Union High School JV pom squad last year. She also served as assistant pom coach for the 9^th grade team at Union for the 2015-16 season. While still in college, Hudspeth also taught ballet, jazz and hip hop to children ages 3-5 at Tippi Toes Dance Company.

Hudspeth received her bachelor’s degree from TU in media studies with a minor in elementary education in 2019.
