Tulsa Men Fall to Harvard in Sunday's Tennis Action

The University of Tulsa men's tennis team came up short against Harvard University, Sunday afternoon at The Michael D. Case Tennis Center at The University of Tulsa. Less than half a day from the team's biggest victory, against 17th-ranked TCU, Tulsa couldn't battle back against its Ivy League opponent from Cambridge, Mass.
The 47th-nationally ranked Hurricane were stunned at home by the Crimson, ranked 45th-nationally. Harvard won the doubles point by taking two of the three matches. Tulsa's first doubles position team of Dane McGregor and Shri Sudhakara won its match against Harvard's Oli Choo and Jonathan Chu, 8-6.
Tulsa won the third and fourth position singles' matches to win its only two points on the day. Tulsa's Ryan Livesay and Ale Tejerina were the victors in their singles matches. Livesay beat Harvard's Oli Choo, 6-4, 6-3, while Tejerina's win over Cliff Nguyen went, 6-3, 6-3.
Tulsa is now 9-4 on the season, with a record of 8-2 at home.
