Tulsa, Okla. - The 42nd-ranked Tulsa women's tennis team fell, 4-3, to 55th-ranked Oklahoma Thursday at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on The University of Tulsa campus.

The Sooners dominated the doubles competition, winning all three matches. In the No. 1 position, TU's Alicia Pillay and Aleksandra Durska fell 8-4 to Oklahoma's 36th-ranked doubles tandem, Anda Perianu and Heather Saluri.

In the singles match-ups, the Golden Hurricane 20th-ranked Pillay defeated 58th-ranked Perianu, 6-4, 5-7, 6-4, in the No. 1 position, netting one of three Tulsa points. Also for TU, 102nd-ranked Durska defeated Elena Jirnova, 6-1, 7-5 in the No. 2 slot, while teammate Daniela Muscolino defeated Bethany Griffin, 6-2, 6-3 in the No. 4 position.

The Golden Hurricane will go head-to-head with the Lady Razorbacks of Arkansas next Wednesday at home beginning at 6:00 p.m.
