Tulsa, Okla. - Tulsa's 50th-ranked women's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision to 22nd-ranked BYU on Saturday afternoon at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on The University of Tulsa campus.

In singles action, Tulsa's 70th-ranked Muscolino tallied an impressive, 6-4, 3-6, 6-2, upset over 39th-ranked Zahnova in the No. 1 slot. Santie Delport also chalked up a win in the No. 6 position, a 7-5, 0-6, 6-3, decision over Nicole Schneider. Somers, Pereira and Buhagiar also played their matches into a third set, but fell in the No. 3 through No. 5 slots, respectively.
